Caracol - Cirrus Gray 845

A truly unique yarn! Malabrigo starts with a bulky thick-and-thin single made of their delightfully soft superwash merino wool, and then criss-cross it with a binder thread (either black or white.) Then the yarn is dyed one of their signature kettle-dyed colorways, and: poof! Something unlike any yarn they've made before, inspired by a particular style of handspun yarn. Caracol knits up into a cozy, fluffy fabric with a ton of texture and visual interest. Simple stitch patterns really let it sing!

Great for:

Warm winter accessories, big cozy afghans, and stockinette that's far from boring.

Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. Some colors may vary one from the other even within the same bag. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.

A note about color variation:  Due to the hand dying process, each skein is unique.  You will receive a skein from this colorway, but not the exact skein pictured.  The proportions and intensities of colors may vary.  If you are ordering multiple skeins of the same color, we will hand pick skeins that match each other as best as possible.  We recommend buying your entire yardage requirement for your project in the same transaction for color continuity.
