Russian Tea Cakes

1 cup butter, softened

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup powdered sugar

2 1/4 cups flour

3/4 cup pecans, finely chopped

 

Preheat oven to 400˚F.

 

In a medium bowl mix ingredients.  Dough will be dry but continue to mix until it holds together.

 

Roll into small balls.

 

Bake on non greased cookie sheets for 10-12 minutes.

 

After baking, roll in powdered sugar.
